Remove Recycler Virus Without Anti-Virus

How to remove recyler virus:

While booting your machine continiously press the f8 key. You will be directed to a screen with many options. Go for the  “Safe mode with Command Prompt” option. The system will automatically directed you to the graphical user interface and there you will have an option for login as an “User” and “Administrator”. Login as an administrator. The command prompt will start automatically.

Give this command as it is:

C: \Documents and Settings\ Administrator> cd\      (press enter)

C:\>dir/ah    (press  enter) 

            /*This command will list all the hidden files present on the partition c. If your system will be infected by recycler then you will find out the “Recycler” folder in that list.*/

C:\>del/p/f recycler /a/s   (press  enter)

            /*It will ask for the confirmation to delete the recycler folder. Press “Y” and hit the enter .The confirmation option you will  get repeatedly depending upon the virus infection on your system.  If the infection will be more then system will ask more confirmation. */

             /* In this way you can check out the recycler virus folder in all your drives. You have to do nothing but just type the [drive name:] on that command prompt and repeat the whole procedure from second line of the command shown above.*/

For Example: If you want to check for your drive D then

C: \Documents and Settings\ Administrator>D:

D:\>dir/ah      (press  enter)

And do as directed above………..

After completion type

C:\>Exit    (press  enter)

The cmd prompt will get close and then press “CTRL+ALT+DEL” button in order to open the window task manager. In that select the “Shutdown option” and in that select “restart”. And you are done……………….

NOTE:   When your system will boot completely then the recycler  folder will exist in all your drive but it will be an empty one so you can delete that folder directly as you delete your normal files.
